Childrens’ Store Tours of the Longmont Great Harvest Bread Co.

Do you know of kids between the ages of 5-8 who would like to see the science and art behind the healthy whole grains they eat? Call us and we’ll set up a tour for you.

We love the idea of showing kids our bakery, the stone mill, the gigantic rotating oven, and the bags and bags of wheat berries.

Tours are usually scheduled mid to late-morning and are relatively short — approximately 20 minutes, but they are hands-on. Since our store is truly a production facility, one adult for every four kids is requested. We try to schedule in the late morning so the kids can experience working with dough on our wooden kneading table.

If you would like to inquire about a tour, stop by the store and speak to Doug or give us a call — and two weeks notice is needed.
